PlatinumPLUS is a Limited Benefit Health Plan. The hallmark of the Plan is affordability and versatility, that is to say a multitude of benefit configurations and premium price points are available. Premiums for employee only coverage can be as low as $2.00 per day and dependent coverage premiums are equally as attractive. PlatinumPLUS is not a traditional major medical health plan, nor is it managed care. It may not fully cover serious illnesses or accidents that require extensive or intensive medical treatment.
PlatinumPLUS pays indemnity-based benefits for a covered injury (non occupational) or sickness. Again, PlatinumPLUS is not traditional comprehensive health insurance and should not be considered a substitute for comprehensive health insurance or major medical coverage as it is sometimes called. It is designed to help and provide significant assistance to the vast percentage of American families that are either uninsured or under-insured. |
